What is this event? A three-day conference to examine how organizational strategy, technology, and practice must align to achieve business results. Why now? The time is right to facilitate a conversation that business leaders wants to have: to discuss why organizational learning is not fully addressed through training or eLearning and how technology and classroom development should support business strategy. While many conferences focus on "training", we'll examine how organizations should align educational opportunities to business needs. We'll focus on how technology is changing the conversation around how, what, and why people learn within the context of an enterprise. What will it answer? Perspectives and experiences of corporations: How is technology affecting learning strategy. How is it meeting the needs of business leaders? Perspective and experiences of technologists: How are we making use of technology to change the way people learn and the learning strategy? Are we just reformatting? Perspectives of business educators: What are the opportunities and challenges in applying technology to achieve business outcomes? Participants will include senior corporate executives, chief executives of learning technology companies, scholars, and business faculty.
