While there are many national and international learning-focused organizations, there are also some excellent local training groups you might want to know about. Here are the names and contact information of a few we've learned about over the years. These are NOT local chapters of national or international organizations. If you belong to or lead a local group you'd like listed here, please let us know. Midwest Minneapolis Professional Association of Computer Training (PACT) is a Minnesota-based local group not affiliated with any national organization but with members from other parts of the country who find the newsletter, web site and contacts to be worth the membership fees. M-PACT Northeast ADAPT, the Association for Development, Advancement, and Productivity through Technology Training, is a New England-based organization of training professionals providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, concerns, information, and resources for professionals in the field of training and information technology. A.D.A.P.T. HAT, Hartford Area Trainers, provides a forum for training professionals in the greater Hartford, Connecticut area who are involved in information technology training and related topics.
