Speaking & Presentation Skills

Because we speak so often, people ask us how they might learn how to improve their speaking and presentation skills. Here are some terrific reasources.

One woman asked, "There are thousands of organizations catering to, marketing, selling the services of professional speakers. Most speakers aren't born. What specific organizations train individuals to become professional speakers? What books should I read? What do you reference when you speak? I assure you I'll contact everyone you suggest!" This list will grow over time as we specifically begin to collect appropriate and helpful resources. If you have additions to this list, or related questions, please let us know.

Organizations

National Speakers Association is for people who are already professional speakers, but may lead you to some answers and get a feel for the profession.
